Shannon DeConda Shannon O. DeConda, CPC, CPC-I, CEMC, CMSCS, CPMA®
Founder of NAMAS

Shannon DeConda is the Founder and Director of the National Alliance of Medical Accreditation Services (NAMAS) as well as the Director of Coding & Billing Services and a Partner at DoctorsManagement, LLC.

Ms. DeConda has over 16 years of experience as a multi-specialty auditor and coder. She has helped coders, medical chart auditors, and medical practices optimize business processes and maximize reimbursement by identifying lost revenue.

Since founding NAMAS in 2007, Ms. DeConda has developed the NAMAS CPMA® Certification Training, written the NAMAS CPMA® Study Guide, and launched a wide variety of educational products and web-based educational tools to help coders, auditors, and medical providers improve their efficiencies.

Ms. DeConda is an experienced presenter and educator and a sought-after speaker. She has her Coding Certification through both the AAPC and PAHCS.


Paula Wright Paula Wright, CPC, CPMA®, CPC-I, CEMC
Coding Specialist and Educator

Paula Wright has 11 years experience in compliance auditing, education, and coding for multi-specialty practice. She has extensive experience teaching physicians auditing and coding. Ms. Wright currently works for Doctors Management as Coding Specialist and Educator. She is also an instructor for NAMAS where she teaches the Certified Professional Medical Auditor curriculum (CPMA®).

Mrs. Wright is an approved PMCC instructor with AAPC, as well as a certified auditor, and certified evaluation and management coder. She has served as past president and president-elect for the Johnson City Chapter of the AAPC.
